Dr. Albert Coombs III

Dr. Albert Coombs III received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2011 and is licensed in the District of Columbia and Maryland. He is a Diplomate with the International Dental Implant Association(IDIA) performing more than 320 Implant CE hours and placed over 1000 implant procedures both: in practice and in continuum education programs. Dr. Coombs moved to the DMV area in 2011 and began working in private practices in Temple Hills, Maryland and Washington DC.

Following his passion for serving underserved patient populations, he developed and co-founded Smile Services with Dr. Granger. Smile services is a community outreach program that focused on oral health education in underserved populations throughout Washington D.C. Since 2012, this program has done more than 2000 free patient exams, taught a variety of classes from oral cancer education to career mentorship, and has donated dental supplies to elementary schools, churches and homeless shelters throughout the region.

In 2015, Dr. Coombs and Dr.Granger opened up a Private Practice, Smile Services DC, where they continue to provide quality care to the Washington DC area. Dr. Coombs is an Executive Board Member of the Robert T. Freeman Dental Society and enjoys spending time with his family when he isn’t doing dentistry

Dr. Kevin Granger

Dr. Kevin Granger earned his Dental Surgery (DDS) from Meharry Medical College in 2002 and is a licensed dentist in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Following his degree, Dr. Granger spent two years in advanced residency programs. Pursuing excellence he became a fellow at Implant Surgery and an associate fellow with the World Institute of Laser Dentistry. Over a span of 13 years, Dr. Granger has worked with multiple practices from family to private, learning community outreach, management, and entrepreneurial skills that would later help build Oral Health Associates. There he and Dr. Coombs built a foundation that would become, Smile Services.

In 2012, Dr. Granger took his entrepreneurial skills and co-founded Smile Services DC, where he and Dr. Coombs continue to provide quality care to the District of Columbia and surrounding areas.
